Install

  1. Download qbit-wallet.zip and unzip it. You will get a folder named qbit-wallet (or similar) containing a manifest.json.
  2. Open chrome://extensions (or brave://extensions) in your browser.
  3. Toggle Developer mode on (top-right corner).
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  5. Pin Helix to the toolbar and open it to create your wallet from a new 24-word mnemonic, or import an existing one.

What it does

  • Post-quantum signing. Every transaction is signed with ML-DSA-65 (FIPS 204). Classical-curve compromises do not affect QBit signatures.
  • Local key custody.The seed phrase, master key and per-account private keys are encrypted with scrypt + AES-256-GCM and stored only in your browser’s extension storage.
  • Direct chain access. The extension talks to the QBit fullnode and sentry RPCs over HTTPS. No intermediate API holds your transactions.

Devnet only

This build connects to the QBit devnet by default. Your seed phrase is the only way to recover the account — write it down on paper and keep it offline. Funds on devnet have no value and the chain may be reset without notice.
